RMA Insurance
On behalf of its members, the Alberta Federation of Rural Water Co-operatives participates in an insurance program sponsored by the Rural Municipalities of Alberta. It can be difficult to buy insurance for a small water utility at a reasonable rate. By combining the assets and risk profile of the AFRWC membership, we are able to reliably offer appropriate insurance at a reasonable cost to our members.
Because of the nature of the policy, RMA insurance coverage for liability, theft, fraud and other similar risks is standardized for all members. Coverage for loss of member assets and vehicles can be tailored by each member to suit their operations.
Below are forms that are applicable to the insurance program and may be needed from time to time by members.
