Join Us for the Water Federation AGM

You are invited to attend the upcoming Annual General Meeting of the Alberta Federation of Rural Water Co-operatives Ltd.

As in previous years, we will feature presentations from a range of key stakeholders and tradeshow alongside our regular business meeting. This event also provides an important opportunity for members to engage directly with presenters and other members.  We are in the process of finalizing a diverse lineup of speakers who will share valuable insights on key topics.  Full details on the speakers and presentation topics will be included in the agenda, which will be shared closer to the meeting date.

Rebate Program:

To make this year's in-person meeting in Calgary as accessible as possible, the Federation is offering travel rebates to support member attendance. Calgary was chosen as the meeting location for its central proximity to our membership.

We are pleased to offer the following rebates, applicable toward future membership or insurance fees:

• Attendance Rebate: One rebate of $100 per co-op with a representative in attendance.

• Travel Rebate: One additional rebate per co-op based on travel distance from Calgary:

  • $250 for co-ops located more than 250 km away.

  • $500 for co-ops located more than 500 km away.

Please note: Each co-op is eligible for a maximum of two rebates: one attendance rebate and one travel rebate.

Your participation is crucial to the sustainability of our organization. This year's AGM will include the election for at least one Director position, and we encourage interested members to consider putting their names forward.
