“This recognition belongs to every rural water co-operative in Alberta,” said Gary. “It’s a testament to what we can achieve when we work together, share knowledge and stay focused on long-term sustainability. I’m proud to be part of a movement that puts community first.”
The 2025 Alberta Co-operative Conference brought together leaders from across the province to explore governance, member engagement and the future of co-op collaboration. Gary’s recognition at this event highlights the important role the Water Federations plays in shaping Alberta’s co-op landscape.
